This September, Pandega Desain Weharima (PDW) will be taking part in IndoBuildTech Surabaya 2026, hosting a panel discussion titled "Beyond Building: PDW, Inside Our Practice." Unlike forums that usually focus on finished design outcomes, this session invites several younger architects from the PDW team to speak openly about the process behind them, how the core values an architecture firm holds actually get translated into everyday work away from the polish of a completed project.

Much of PDW's visible track record so far comes from projects in Jabodetabek. Being at IndoBuildTech Surabaya is one of PDW's steps toward engaging with the architecture community in a city with a distinct practice dynamic. We see this as an opportunity to listen as much as to share.

The conversation will touch on key questions familiar to anyone navigating the field, how design idealism meets the technical and execution realities of a project, how an established firm like Pandega Desain Weharima (PDW) maintains its core direction while empowering younger voices to bring fresh perspectives, and what actually evolves in the architectural design practice over time.

The session is open to architecture students, alumni, practitioners, and anyone curious about how an architecture firm operates up close.
